Join us for a virtual Q & A session with recent BWF CASI awardees Stephanie Lindsey and Elizabeth Jerison. You’ll have a chance to ask specific questions, hear their experiences and advice they have for you.
About the Speakers:
Stephanie Lindsey is currently a postdoctoral researcher in the Cardiovascular Biomechanics Computation Lab at Stanford, where she investigates growth and remodeling of tissue engineered vascular grafts. She will join UCSD as an assistant professor in Summer 2021. Dr. Lindsey is an alumna of Washington University in St. Louis and Cornell University. She has been awarded individual research fellowships from the National Institute of Health, National Science Foundation, Alfred P. Sloan Foundation and Whitaker International Foundation. Most recently Dr. Lindsey was awarded the Burroughs Wellcome Fund Career Award at the Scientific Interface.
Elizabeth Jerison is a postdoctoral researcher in the Quake lab, investigating the dynamics of immunity in zebrafish. During her Ph.D., she studied microbial evolution and statistical physics at Harvard University, where she was an NSF graduate research fellow. She received her B.S. in physics from Yale University. She came to Stanford as a Chodorow postdoctoral fellow in Applied Physics, and most recently was awarded the Burroughs Wellcome Fund Career Award at the Scientific Interface.
