About the Moderator:
Dr. Orit Rapaport has over a decade of experience supporting hundreds of scientists. Her expertise spans research development, project management, research methods, statistics, teaching, and the art of grant writing for American and European funders. Using a step-by-step people-focused approach, she guides researchers through the entire proposal process. At Stanford University, School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics, she earned her the Donna Schurr Spirit Award in June 2022 for her grant writing training efforts. In March 2023, Orit was granted a returning scientist award to integrate best practices from Stanford into the Israeli academic landscape. At present, Orit works with many universities and academic colleges in Israel and maintains a fruitful collaboration with Stanford.
