In this workshop, we will be learning basics of Adobe illustrator on how to design scientific figures for grants, research papers etc. Good scientific figures make a huge difference in conveying your scientific ideas to the audience. We will be covering basics software tools one can use to make figures.
Level: Beginners
This session will be on zoom, so participants can practice alongside.
Participants are requested to have Adobe illustrator on their computers.

About the Speaker: Vinita Bharat, PhD is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Neurosurgery, Stanford University. To present science in fun and an easier way by using art and pinch of humor, she runs an online science communication platform called “Fuzzy Synapse”(www.fuzzysynapse.com).
