Director of the Grant Writing Crystal Botham and Grant Coach Danielle Mathersul invite you to bring your questions about writing a proposal, especially for the NIH Fellowships (F31, F32, etc.) or K Awards (K99/R00, K08, K23, etc.) to this workshop. We will give strategic advice and tips for writing proposals plus provide opportunities to participate in a peer review.
To participate in the peer review, bring three copies of up to 4 pages of your proposal. For example, bring your NIH biosketch OR Career Development documents (Candidate’s Background, Career Goals & Objectives, Training Plan) OR 1-page Specific Aims and Significance / Innovation subsection OR draft of one aim.
LOCATION: The Palo Alto Veterans Affairs Hospital (3801 Miranda Ave, Palo Alto, Building 5, Room A-431) location is idea for postdocs and graduate students based at the Stanford Research Park or the Veterans Affairs Hospital, though all are welcomed! Stanford does provide a free shuttle between the VA and Stanford School of Medicine – see here: https://transportation.stanford.edu/marguerite.
