Being a good listener can make you a stronger leader and improve your professional relationships. In this interactive workshop, Matt Vassar, the instructor for the popular ENGR 103/203 Public Speaking course, will guide you through listening techniques to make people around you feel listened to and valued. You’ll learn strategies to become more persuasive, gain support from others, and turn conflict into cooperation. Matt Vasser from the Technical Communication Program will lead the workshop.
Free pizza will be served at 11: 45 AM (please bring your own water).
Event is co-sponsored by the Technical Communication Program (School of Engineering) and Grant Writing Academy (School of Medicine).
