R2G2: What Reviewers Look For

Ever wanted to get inside a reviewer’s head? Well in this session you can!
The second session of the R2G2 seminar series for junior faculty will focus on the grant review process. Join us for a moderated discussion with a panel of expert grant reviewers from both the School of Engineering and the School of Medicine. You will also have the opportunity to present your specific questions to the panel.
Panelist include: Kathleen Sakamoto; Ronald Pearl; Kang Shen; Richard Luthy; Sarah Heilshorn
Lunch will be provided and there will time for networking with your peers and the panelists.
R2G2 is a monthly seminar series specially designed for junior faculty across both Stanford School of Engineering and School of Medicine. These sessions will cover all aspects of grant writing, delivered through panel sessions, workshops and focused talks. R2G2 will also provide unique networking opportunities, enabling cross faculty collaborations and multidisciplinary partnerships. R2G2 will ensure that junior faculty have all the tools and strategies to lead them to grant success and on to independent research careers.
