NIH K99 Awardee Dr. Daniel Christoffel will provide tips and strategies for writing a compelling NIH K Award. After the seminar, a panel of K Awardees (K99, K01, K08, K23, etc.) will provide their perspectives as well.

bout the speaker: Dan Christoffel, PhD is a prior Grant Writing Academy Grant Coach and received an NIH K99 in 2018. His current research focusĀ is on specific neural circuits involved in reward processing and feeding behavior. He is discovering how various excitatory inputs to the nucleus accumbens, a critical brain node involved in processing the salience of events, modulate reward – related behaviors utilizing converging lines of inquiry.
