Mini Proposal Bootcamp Workshops
- Graduate Students
- Postdocs
This year, we are hosting informative workshops in collaboration with Dr. Orit Rapaport, a Research Development Strategist from the Department of Pediatrics. Grant Coach Dr. Leah Guthrie is also leading Time to Write sessions to jumpstart your writing. Make sure to register for both activities!
Join the sessions that fit your need*
* Each activity you join provides a digital raffle ticket for a random drawing for 10 (ten) winners, which will receive a Stanford T-shirt or other swag from the Stanford Bookstore (up to $35 value each). Raffle is open to only trainees and not staff nor faculty.
Each workshop will discuss proven strategies for addressing review criteria and engaging reviewers. Also, during the workshops we will complete activities designed for you to prototype key components of your proposal. We will use the NIH NRSA Fellowships (F30, F31, F32) and K Awards (K99/R00, K01, K08, K23, K22, etc.) as a guide but our tips are relevant to many fellowships and career development awards. We recommend downloading the All About the NIH K Award Workbook (relevant for many types of proposals). Workshops will be recorded and posted on this website later.
